Day 1: Arrive in Delhi

Welcome to India’s thrilling capital – a city of Mughal ruins, teeming bazaars and colonial grandeur. On arrival, either relax at your hotel or venture out at your own pace. Overnight at The Palms.

Day 2: Delhi

From Old Delhi’s exquisite havelis and bustling spice markets to New Delhi’s Mughal monuments and tree-lined boulevards, spend the day discovering both sides of this South Asian megacity. Overnight at The Palms.

Day 3: Delhi to Jaipur

Travel to Samode in Rajasthan before cycling the ancient trade route to Jaipur, the legacy of which is felt thanks to grand palaces, terrific temples and fearsome forts. Overnight at Lebua Resort.

Day 4: Jaipur

Visit the hilltop Amber Fort on the back of an elephant before exploring the City Palace and the Rajput-era Jantar Mantar observatory. Later, explore Jaipur’s colourfully chaotic bazaars. Overnight at Lebua Resort.

Day 5: Jaipur

Hike from the impressive Nahargarh Fort to the imposing Jaigarh Fort. After exploring the local markets, embark on a horse or camel safari in Jaipur’s impressive surroundings. Overnight at Lebua Resort.

Day 6: Jaipur to Agra

Travel to Bharatpur for a cycle rickshaw trip through Keoladeo National Park – watching out for kingfishers, black-necked storks and wild boar – before continuing to Agra. Overnight at ITC Mughal.

Day 7: Agra

Embark on a post-breakfast nature walk alongside the ethereal Taj Mahal: the perfect prequel to visiting what’s regarded as the world’s most beautiful building. Later, discover the fairy-tale palaces of Agra Fort. Overnight at ITC Mughal.

Day 8: Agra to Rishikesh

Return to Delhi for the onward flight to Dehradun in Uttarakhand’s Himalayan foothills. Transfer to Rishikesh, the self-styled ‘Yoga capital of the world,’ whose perfect location is beside a brilliantly blue River Ganges. Overnight at Glasshouse on the Ganges.

Day 9: Rishikesh

Journey upstream to Marine Drive ahead of a day’s white-water rafting on the fast-flowing Ganges, stopping off at Brahmpuri Beach for lunch. After drying off, experience a traditional aarti ceremony by the river. Overnight at Glasshouse on the Ganges.

Day 10: Rishikesh

Indulge in a morning yoga session ahead of the final day’s trek to Garhwali, passing forest and local villages en route. The rest of the day is spent at leisure. Overnight at Glasshouse on the Ganges.

Day 11: Rishikesh to Delhi

Transfer to Dehradun and fly to Delhi before connecting to your onward international return flight.
